Their new age investment support platform analyses billions of data points to help investors make better decisions.by building tools, processes, and algorithms to power investors with cutting-edge proprietary insights.

Description

They key responsibilities of the role are:

- Planning and executing long term strategy that helps the team and product development

- Converting product requirements and design to software specifications and helping the team to stay on track

- Participating in code reviews, and setup process to ensure a high-quality code-base

- Making technical contributions to help developer work flow, product architecture

- Fostering technical decision making in the team, and make final decisions when necessary

- Work closely with Product, Design and other cross-functional partners to create a meaningful vision and road map for the team. Iterate on the road map, and make any necessary course corrections steering the team towards a successful outcome.

- Working with other engineering leaders to set up performance evaluation, career development frameworks for the development team.

Profile :

- 7+ years of experience in planning, executing and delivering projects with multiple stakeholders and developers in an agile environment

- Deep understanding of the front-end space with strong fundamentals in JavaScript, CSS and browser technologies

- Comfortable with setting up and working with large scale front-end applications with the latest technologies - ES6, web-pack, babel, React hooks, Jest

- Familiarity with building multi-platform design systems. Setting up and maintaining mono repositories

- Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA, Notion and successfully ran sprints in an agile environment

- 5+ years of experience working as a front-end engineer building products from scratch and iterating on them, with 2+ years of React experience

- 2 + years of experience leading teams, handling 1-1s, performance reviews

- Smart, humble, articulate with an open mind and willingness to teach and learn from others

- Believes in supportive leadership, enabling the team to be highly productive and not shy away from having difficult conversations when necessary
