Job Description :

- Snapp is a ride-hauling company from Tehran, Iran is looking for Director of Engineering to build and scale a path-breaking product, heading the Indian Operations with Leadership, Management and architectural experience.

- Someone who has previous experience grown the team. someone who loves the startup way of life, someone who is willing to put structure and processes in place that best lend themselves to heightened delivery output with a focus on customer needs. The role involves solving conventional problems in unconventional ways, thriving within budgets by prioritizing and spending smart, and fueling innovation across the organization.

- Candidate Should be a full-stack architect and manager, who brings solid technical understanding of multiple back-end, mobile-web platforms.

- Candidate should have experience in built team of engineers to build a highly scaled-up back-end platform and/or mobile application.

Mandatory Skills :

- Overseeing the Engineering, Support and IT organizations.

- Building and maintaining a culture of product innovation.

- Expansion into Client Services, Marketing and Sales support for the India center

- Overseeing all business aspects of the center and working closely with HQ on driving these:

- Facilities and Infrastructure.

- Experience with modern software development.

- Comfort with multiple programming paradigms and their best practices

- Experience-laced CS knowledge (algorithms and data structures, computing systems - preferably - NIX architecture, application knowledge)

- Knowledge of web standards and modern frameworks

- Familiarity with mobile development paradigms and their associated environments

- Familiarity with consumer privacy and payments industry compliance requirements

- Strong team management and cross-functional collaboration abilities

- Strong communication and documentation skills
