Roles & Responsibilities: - Leading with a Technology vision in the Observability space guiding the team to build and deliver a scalable, reliable, resilient & high-performing product that Customers love. - Own Technical Roadmap along with the Architect/Managers guiding them in system design bringing out the best ensuring technical accuracy - Identify opportunities, Improve and optimize for efficient Engineering practices in delivering high quality software - Coach, Supervise, support and unblock the team ensuring quality deliverables - Strong problem solving, analytical, decision-making skills with excellent communication with interpersonal skills. - Analyze performance test results and coordinate with development team for bug fixes - Be the voice of Engineering partnering with Product Management in shaping the Product & Technology Roadmap maximizing delivery velocity - Partner with Sales in providing necessary technology guidance, leadership to Prospects & Customers in evaluating and recommending our product to their needs - Hire, train, and motivate engineers and other members in the team - Manage and drive one or more small to medium-sized Initiatives Define and implement a long-term talent strategy for current and future needs, working with senior management - Ability to engage and retain employees with a high degree of satisfaction within the organization. - Provide coaching and development opportunities for promising members to grow in the team - Establish administrative policies, procedures, and standards, as needed - Has the ability to deliver structured presentations to senior leadership - Lastly, create a culture and environment within the team, that gets the best of every member in the team. Experience: - 15+ years of experience with min 3 yrs in leading engineering design and development of distributed systems focusing on scalability, reliability, resiliency & performance for the web or enterprise - Extensive experience in Observability, System/Application Monitoring, Cloud Native, iPaaS, Data Integration, ETL ecosystems with exposure in Bigdata, Cloud/SaaS, AI/ML and distributed systems. - Experience in building and managing high performing teams with diverse background - Experience working with Product Management & Sales in fostering collaboration and adept in engaging with customers in leading technical evaluation and discussions both at executive and at engineering level. - Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers to deliver solutions with highest quality - Experience of Identifying and communicating strengths and developmental areas for team members in a structured manner. - Experience and being proactive to identify hidden patterns in systems, services and people to find issues before they become big - Strong Background to understand observability platforms like New Relic, Datadog, etc...
