Job Description :

Reporting to the Group CTO of the organisation the role would be responsible for owing end to end development of high performance web and mobile applications, architecting and scaling front-end platform to reduce technical debts and improve performance and agility.

Description

- Be the technical owner for all front-end developments (mobile & web) of various content websites. Define manual and automation testing strategies for such websites.

- Continue to develop and improve delivery processes.

- Lead & manage a team of front-end engineers and mobile developers, including hiring, developing, training and retaining a best in class team.

Profile

- Sound knowledge and experience working in a variety of front-end technology (e.g. JavaScript, CSS, HTML, angular/react) frameworks and project tools (e.g. Atlassian, git).

- Expert level knowledge of Data Sources from RDBMS to NoSQL ( MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch) and caching systems (Redis/Memcache, Varnish)

- Experience with modern web UI frameworks (e.g. React, Angular).

- Experience with architecting systems for AWS is a must have.

- Previous experience of leading large teams.
