Job Description :

-- Creation and development of an India ER and HR Compliance Centre of Excellence which builds and leverages the capabilities of the India HR & Compliance Team.

- Providing leadership and expertise in strategizing ER Practices for India to face ER challenges. Developing and articulating the frame for proactive and progressive ER practices aligned to the business objective.

- Providing advice, guidance and case management to the businesses and key stakeholders on strategic employee relation matters.

- Develop and execute ER strategies which align and contribute to India Business and Global ER & HR Compliance Goals.

- Proactive thought leadership in the interpretation of Indian employment legislation (including pending legislation) and its impacts on the business. Act as the India Specialist on Employee Data Privacy Management.

- Act as a central point of contact for India and wider Asian HR Compliance activities.

- Assist with the ongoing development of an employee complaints procedure which is cascaded and fully understood by all local employees. Management of external and internal claims.

- Provide comprehensive expert advice on all aspects of the employment relationship acting as an escalation point for HR Relationship Leaders and Business Leaders.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Business Leaders, HRBP- s, Legal Counsel, Ombudsoffice and other internal/external parties when working in partnership on strategic initiatives/projects which have an ER impact.

- Leverage ER as a catalyst for growth by supporting due diligence, re-engineering, acquisition/integration and related activities. Manage and coordinate the ER Impact of complex business transfers and/or transactions ensuring full compliance with local laws and regulations where appropriate.

- Vendor management (via appropriate Service Delivery Agreements) in the provision of a wide range of ER services. Ensure maximum service delivery at best value terms.

- In collaboration with the Global Leadership Development team, contribute to the strategy of creating and launching positive ER training in order to build the capabilities of front line leaders and the HR Community.

- Establish and maintain enlightened and progressive working relationships with Government bodies, employer federations and benchmarking groups. Facilitate the development of a best in class ER Service by conducting external benchmarking to review ER trends, assess impact and develop/implement solutions.

PAN India Role with reporting to the Global HR Leader .
