Director - Employee Relations - BFSI/IT (17-20 yrs)

Our client is a top tier international financial institution actively seeking an experienced Director Employee Relations with extensive experience in Employee Relations initiatives. Prefer to connect with people having global exposure. This is newly created opportunity to help the organisation to craft the culture by providing simple and creative solutions. Working with senior global functional leads to define the strategy and carry through its implementation.

Some of the key responsibilities will include to:

- Provide strategic direction to for the India Employee Relations function.

- Lead, guide, advise and coordinate a team of ER professionals.

- Collaborate on the disciplinary process.

- Partner and collaborate with other investigative functions and HR teams wherever required.

- Maintain compliance to legal, labour or regulatory requirements.

To be eligible for this role you will require to have:

- Minimum 17+ years of experience in a Human Resources function. (Advisory/Generalist, Business Partner) including minimum 6+ years in specialized Employee Relations role.

- Extensive experience as a Human Resources or Employee Relations Specialist, ideally acquired within a fast-paced financial services environment.

- Proven understanding of the India employment law and regulatory frameworks (exposure to, and/or a full appreciation of the regulatory environment and the regulator's expectations in the context of employee conduct / disciplinary matters is essential).
