Director - Digital Learning - University (10-15 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities:

- Digital Learning vision for the university: Providing leadership in formulating a strategy for development of transformational digital learning practices in line with the university's overall digital strategy to achieving the vision

- Identifying digital learning opportunities: Researching global trends in digital learning technologies and pedagogies and champion advocacy for adoption of best practices in the university.

- Building university's digital learning ecosystem: Leading the development and implementation of a digital learning operating model and a university-wide plan to build digital learning programs, technology, and capabilities.

- Technology to facilitate high quality learning: Overseeing the evaluation, selection, and integration of different technology systems for content development, content hosting, assessment, student learning analytics, and others to enhance digital teaching learning experience and outcomes.

- Ensuring continuous evolvement of digital learning practices: Collaborating with academic departments to identify challenges and assess changing needs, reviewing the performance, adoption, and overall effectiveness of digital learning, conducting research on the impact of the adoption of a blended learning environment on learning outcomes, teacher ratings and student satisfaction to further create a more efficient system to drive continued success

- Managing internal and external relationships: Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure ease of planning and implementation of strategic initiatives

- Financial responsibility: Planning, managing, monitoring, and ensuring proper utilization of budget and driving revenue from digital learning programs

Desired Candidate Profile

- The incumbent must have 10-12 years of experience (Min 3-5 years experience in managing online digital learning)

- Good understanding of online learning process.

- Need to have hands-on experience on online content development, online delivery, and Online education strategy.
