Seeking a senior professional with a background in instructional design to run its Digital Learning function. POSITION DESCRIPTION: - The Director will lead a portfolio of high-quality digital learning solutions in collaboration with faculty, media labs / agencies, learning engineers, instructional designers, and other program delivery teams. Oversee a high volume of digital learning programs and ensures they are designed and implemented to support learning outcomes and objectives and advance the brand of the institution. - Implement unique, targeted, impactful learning solutions that address learners' needs, accomplish agreed-upon learning objectives, and advance the brand of the organisation. Develop a thorough understanding of the ecosystem of resources available to Digital Learning. - Leverage existing relationships with faculty and build new relationships with visiting faculty for learning content. Collaborate with industry partners for experiential learning content, guest lectures and workshops. In conversations with faculty and industry, convey an acute understanding of current and future trends in business and the concerns of executives, as well as the primary areas of interest of faculty at the school. - Work with the media lab / agencies and/ or program delivery teams to ensure that both digital and in-person programs and learning content therein are delivered with consistently high standards of exceptional quality. - Elevate and reinforce the brand and experience throughout the customer journey to ensure that all programs, including partnership initiatives, meet brand standards and business goals. These include working with faculty to schedule programs and communicating schedule and any subsequent changes to marketing and delivery functions. - Collaborate with Finance and Administration to maintain all program budgets including faculty compensation, external service provider fees, specialized course materials and/or resources and all other costs associated with the development and delivery of individual programs. Create or redefine best practices manual and process documents to support an exceptional board experience and cross-enterprise collaboration and information sharing. HIRING PROFILE: - 18-20 years in a program management or instructional design role. Must possess a formal qualification in Instructional Design. - Familiarity with learning management systems and educational technologies. - Experience with corporate learning, executive education, online instruction, learner support and/or instructional design. - Strong project management skills that are necessary for managing multiple programs and for any given program, identifying and managing interdependencies. - Outstanding critical thinking and judgment skills. Strategic thinker and collaborative in nature. Superior project management and a track record of program development and implementation. - Ability to provide leadership, handle multiple priorities and stakeholders. Basic budgeting skills and an understanding of business processes. - Strong communication skills; excellent oral and written communication ability. - Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders, including faculty and executives. - Creative, inspiring and possess problem-solving skills and work well with others in a team-oriented organization
