Our client is a US headquartered firm offering SaaS based products. They manage several processes for their clients and provide visibility, control, flexibility and accountability that drive continuous process improvement and productivity for each of the users. Our client has their development center in India at Bengaluru and is looking for a Director to join them. The Director shall be the key executive leading the operations at the development centre and managing a team of 50+ software developers, SQA - Test engineers and development consultants. The centre develops productivity enablement SaaS applications for business process, workflow and scheduling. The Director shall be responsible for creating a high-performance culture aligned with the company's strategic plan while delivering products that meets the performance and quality standards. The Director shall be responsible for the software development strategic plan and the execution against business objectives that include consistent feature enhancements, new product innovation, maintenance of existing code, and product performance standards of excellence.&nbsp; This role requires the Director to possess technical skills, organizational and process knowledge and financial expertise to maintain an effective operations model in a matrixed environment. This includes clearly established business goals, budgets, work standards, and communication. KRAs : - Provide the leadership that supports the overall management of the Bengaluru office and the product development life cycle - Plan and budget software engineering initiatives, resources and product releases from design phase through deployment - Implement and champion the agile development methodology - Identify and communicate project scope and ensure release milestones and objectives are met - Ensure that projects adhere to the engineering processes and initiate process improvements as needed - Oversee Architecture &amp; design of technically robust, flexible and scalable solutions Desired profile : - Overall 15+ years of experience - Demonstrated leadership skills that drive a software development organization to constantly improve the quality and productivity - Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills - Organizational and operational success including establishing business goals, budgets, work standards, standardized business process and KPI's - Identify training needs for the project team to improve productivity and quality of delivery - Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle, tools, processes and planning - Experience managing programs following Agile/Scrum methodology - Experience in managing engineering teams to deliver enterprise class software or SaaS - Must be willing to work extended hours to meet project deadlines and critical business cycles - Moderate travel involved, including travel to the US
