Job Details:

- Works collaboratively with all peers to ensure organizational goals are met

- Responsible for documenting specific competency levels and details of what each levels need to know and aspire to move

- Responsible for clearly documenting courses/experience/training required to upgrade skill levels

- Responsible for evaluating all resources in the skill pool and map them at various levels


- Responsible for identifying senior resources within the skill pool who can do project reviews, interviews and stepping in projects when need arises

- Responsible for quality and accuracy of content specific to their skills in the project

- To ensure quality and accuracy - reviews of projects at various stages is essential

- Responsible to assign resources to projects depending on expertise required to execute the project. Skill Heads can consult/collaborate with Competency manager for this activity

- Responsible for upgrading skill levels of resources with the skill pool

- Responsible for identifying training courses for skill upgrade

- Responsible for performance management of resources in the skill pool. Need to take input from Delivery for specific projects.

- Responsible for technical interview during recruitment

- Participating in client situations to showcase client's expertise when needed

- Helping projects which have issues and assigned resources are unable to handle client requirement

- Responsible for approving vendor's technical capability within their skill

- Responsible for creating process/procedure required to execute project in their specific skill area

- Analysis of customer complaints and bugs in projects and update/change process or skill to address them in next projects

- Responsible for maintaining agreed productivity of the resources in the skill pool

- Responsible for creating and estimation norms in their specific skill area

- Responsible for providing input to projects in pre-sales stage and also inputs to RFI/RFPs
