Looking for an experienced Data Scientist with expertise in Computer Vision to lead the client's Data Science team. What you will do: The role involves evaluating, developing and deploying robust AI/ML solutions to a broad spectrum of problems for the client. The focus will be on the continuous innovation and optimization of algorithms to meet developing business needs. Significant areas of research would include natural language processing, spoken dialog systems, computer vision, and machine learning (including deep learning and reinforcement learning). J Responsibilities: - Define ambitious, relevant AI research problems and criteria for evaluating success. - Build state-of-the-art solutions by designing algorithms and carrying out experiments. - Work with engineering teams, when appropriate, to get solutions into use. - Doing research for novel and accurate deep learning algorithms in computer vision - Collaborate with team members from the research to the level of production Basic qualifications: - Master's degree in computer science, stats, math, electrical engineering or related field. - Have in-depth understanding of state-of-the-art algorithms in computer vision and machine learning. - Expertise in developing computer vision/machine learning functionalities in Python. - Extensive experience working on problems related to computer vision and machine learning in the industry. - Proficiency with at least one deep learning frameworks such as Tensor Flow, Caffe, Keras, PyTorch etc. - Ability to develop practical solutions to complex problems. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: - PhD with experience in Computer Science with published projects in the fields of deep learning and computer vision in conferences - Experience in theoretical and empirical research and for answering questions with research - Publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals. - Proven track record of innovation in creating novel algorithms and advancing the state of the art.
