Job Title : Director - Data Science

Qualification : Graduation in any discipline

Experience : 15+ years of Experience with 5+ years in Data Analytics and Data Science

Role : The role of the Head - Data Science would be reporting to the Chief Deliver Officer.

The responsibilities include :

- Lead and manage a team of Junior data scientists

- Use of analytics to improve operational efficiency by working closely with Operations, Hiring, Training, Quality, MIS

- Use Data Analytics backed approach to come up with the best deployment of existing manpower to meet the end objectives and targets defined by the Client

- Use of forecasting techniques to predict the inflow volume and mix

- Use of statistical models to come up with Optimal targets of productivity for each workflow process

- Build live dashboards on production metrics for tracking

- Develop algorithms to cluster work based on the rules defined by the Clients

- Identify staffing requirement through capacity assessment and productivity estimation

- Use appropriate models to predict Attrition, Shrinkage and estimate manpower requirements in advance for hiring.

Work based Skills :

- Should have led a team of data scientists in the past

- Should have exposure to the Business Process Services industry

- Excellent communication skills - Verbal & Written

- Strong analytical skill set

- Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills

- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.

- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.

- Experience using advanced statistical analysis tools (Rapidminer) with large and complex datasets

- Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.

- Experience working with and creating data architectures
