- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Management, or related field required; Advanced degree preferred
- 15+ years of related Information Technology and related business experience
- 7 - 10+ years data modeling and design experience
- 3 5+ years leading and supporting data governance activities in an organization; data catalog experience preferred
- 7 - 10+ years managing large teams - experience managing large global teams preferred
- Experience in Food/Beverage/Manufacturing or Consumer Products, industry preferred
- Demonstrated ability to establish relationships with senior business and IT leadership/management
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated flexibility to manage resources to plan, including effectively handling spikes in demand
- Strong financial management experience
- Solves highly complex, politically sensitive problems across teams
- Strong people management skills with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent, including teams composed of various experience levels
- Lead technical discussions, driving clarity of complex issues/requirements to build robust solutions
- Strong communication skills to meet with business, understand sometimes ambiguous,needs, and translate to clear, aligned requirements
- Able to work independently with business partners to understand requirements quickly, perform analysis and lead the design review sessions.
- Additionally, this role will be challenged to expand influence across the IT organization outside the confines of GD&A team - partnering with Enterprise Architecture and Data Integration teams to drive data standards for re-usability and integrity.
- Enterprise Data Design & Modeling: Direct baseline and investment teams to design, develop, and maintain, application, data warehousing, and reporting database structures supporting Enterprise/Global initiatives, including Enterprise Data Foundation (global Master Data Management, Enterprise Data Warehouse).
- Establish data standards and governance to promote data integrity, consistency, and re-usability, and drive cost efficiencies & business confidence.
- Guide and enable innovation, such as Common Format and Data Distribution Hub, turning ideas into sustainable, robust implementations.
- Provide resources to design and map out data integration for metric transformation/development (ETL).
