Client Details

Our client is one of the leading business consulting firms in India. They are looking for a Director-Data Engineering for their Financial Services Advisory team.

Description

As Director, your responsibilities will include:

- This position will be part of the senior leadership within the Financial Services Analytics Team. Industry focus covers Banking, Insurance and NBFC

- Develop extensive CXO level and senior management relationships in client organizations

- Lead teams responsible for shaping and delivering the Data Engineering/Big Data solutions needed to drive various programs across multiple clients & projects

- Business Development: Help grow the Analytics Business (the candidate will have sales targets for both sales support and independent sales)

- Create analytics product offerings for Banking/Insurance/NBFC clients in India

- Responsible to work closely with the Analytics Leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans for the organization

- Lead and manage teams (10-15 members) with a strong focus on Employee Engagement, Mentoring, Training and Retention

Profile

As a successful candidate, you need to have:

- MBA from a top tier B-school or Masters in Engg. from the top tier university

- Big Data & Data warehousing expertise with extensive exposure to Banking & Insurance domain and people management experience

- Proficiency in Hadoop Ecosystem- Hive, HBase, Spark, Pyspark, Apache,HDFS, Kafka, Cloudera and cloud platforms- Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Patform etc.
