Director - Credit Operations - BFSI

Job Description:

- End to end review of the Credit & Operation process and provide insights on overall process for delivering strict turnaround time

- Proficiency in financial analysis to gauge credit worthiness of the borrower

- Frame process and policy on alternate data-based underwriting model for MSME

- Involved in designing and implementing credit policies and control mechanisms to

- Review credit deviations and take corrective actions and ensure timely reporting to Underwriting / Risk in the event of any deviations or non-compliance

- Ability to prepare, forecast and analyze trends as per current portfolio and implementation of same outcomes into the current system.

- Ability to identify early red flags for the current portfolio, raise flags and take corrective actions

- Strategies to devise and target correct/optimal borrower segment

- Adherence to all regulatory, statutory, and corporate compliance standards and audit requirements

- Ensure appropriate Quality Control processes are implemented for assessing performance quality as per benchmarks

- To ensure timely monitoring of the Credit Dashboard to ensure sufficient workflows in the queues of the respective Credit Analysts

- End to end completion of a transaction from login to sanction, including interaction with borrowers to understand credit requirements.

- Finalization of sanction terms and negotiation with clients and other stakeholders

- Team management & regular trainings should be conducted for the team

- Designing new experiments and programs to test new segments and monitor its performance.

- Minimizing Fraud risks by constantly evaluating the credit process and policies

- Monitoring FI reports on case-to-case basis and take clarification from business team

Requirements:

- 12+ years of hands-on experience in a credit role in Bank / NBFC / Fintech

- Should have knowledge of MSME sector underwriting

- Education: MBA (Finance) / CA

- Strong understanding of credit policy, underwriting process & financial statements

- Advanced excel knowledge required

- Credit Experience in high ticket size - unsecured/secured and preferably invoice discounting/supply chain financing
