Title Director - Corporate Communications and Investor Relations Department Marketing and Corporate Communications Job Location India - Mumbai Job Description - Provide direct marketing support to the Business and Relationship Managers. - Be responsible for list management for marketing campaigns, outreach tours and events. - Develop and maintain presentation overviews and pitch books. - Maintain relationships with a portfolio of key investors and media journalists. - Help organise corporate road shows. - Run regular holdings and interaction reports for key accounts and feedback to the team and senior management. - Aid the analysts with follow-up meetings and other outreach. - Contribute generally to implementation of strategy for the Corporate Communications and Investor Relations team. - Device and supervise the media outreach strategy for the agency and maintain relationships with a portfolio of key market participants and media journalists. - Direct and manage the media outreach team and its efforts. - Monitor media outreach performance and provide strategic feedback to senior management General responsibilities will include: - Using a variety of sources, collate information to build profiles of key buy-side accounts across market sectors and keep them up to date. - Preparing detailed agendas and background material ahead of outreach meetings and tours. - Interact with journalists and investors by sending research, following up on market events, invite to road shows &amp;follow up on requests. - Writing marketing materials, pitch books and presentations with guidance of senior management. - Keeping up to date with market issues and proactively identifying areas of opportunity. - Providing the Events team with lists of invitees for hosted client events, attending the events on the day as required and following up afterward with any resulting inquiries. - Providing support for other team members in the course of their outreach: preparing agendas for tours, materials for meetings, chasing attendees for events and entering information into the database where required. - Analysing readership of India rating research and following-up new research trials for strategic investor contacts including regular interaction with web team. - Maintaining lists for a variety of outreach types and monitoring the investor and media portfolio information. - Running regular reports from the database and other sources for the compilation of overall India Ratings Media/Investor interaction. Providing information on positioning to senior management. Job Skills Qualifications and experience: - Previous experience in a financial services environment. - Post Graduate degree, preferably in a finance or business or mass media-related subject with atleast 10-15 years of experience. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - An interest in financial markets. - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to a high standard. - Solid numeracy skills. - Indian language skills are an advantage. - Highly self- motivated: ability to generate ideas and demonstrate initiative, tenacity, and perseverance: individually and within a team. - Ability to thrive under pressure and demonstrate flexibility to meet tight deadlines.
