Job Summary

We are actively seeking a Director - Contracts for a major Urban Development Project. The responsibilities for this role shall include but not be limited to the following:-

Job Duties:

- Develop global procurement and contracting strategy & Plan-Develop strategic sourcing solutions and value buying to increase procurement synergies between the different projects within the Programme

- Work with schedule and recommend phasing, sequential roll-out or other mitigation tools in a manner to ease the pressure on the local supply chain

- Develop the appropriate mix of contract packages for each type of contract/ project/ facility

- Evaluate contract packaging against the capacity and capabilities of the potential contractors available in the supply chain

- Prepare the Bid documents for Consultancy Services and Works Contract and evaluation of the Bids received from the Bidders

- Deal with all matters of Post award of projects in terms of Contract and commercial obligation including certification of Bills/ Stage payment of the Consultant/ Contractor, Change Order, Claim Analysis etc. in collaboration with the concerned Consultants if any.

Minimum Requirements

- Graduate in Engineering or related field with advanced degree, diploma or training in contracts and procurement administration

- Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible positions in procurement and contract / commercial Management. Last 5 years in a senior business/ commercial/ procurement role

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in similar projects.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Knowledge of Hindi and Gujarati would be helpful.
