Director - Compensation & Benefits

Role Purpose:

Managing the compensation and controlling processes in the period of large expansion across India. Responsible for creating and tracking the payroll, payroll related and headcount budget, implementing controlling and reporting mechanisms in place. Owner of the HRIS related activities - initially for the HR part of ERP system selection and implementation. Responsible for adopting the corporate rules into the subsidiary.

Key responsibilities:

- Delivers the day-to-day provision of advice and support in relation to compensation programs, e.g. salaries, allowances, bonuses, incentives

- Manages, reviews and updates the bonus schemes to reflect the business needs

- Manages annual compensation projects, e.g. pay increases, CEO awards, bonuses, to ensure processes, timelines and rigorous data integrity standards are met

- Participates in salary surveys, analyzing data to support data requests and to build salary structures

- Research market data to advise and support HR Directors & Managers in recruiting and retaining employees

- Stays abreast of legal and market practices in respect to compensation

- Controls the payroll and payroll related budgets - planning, forecasting, reviews, analysis

- Controls the HC related budgets - planning, forecasting, reviews, analysis

- Delivers the compensation related reports and analysis

- Prepares input for the people council

- Manages HRIS implementation and further development

Key requirements:

- Knowledge of HAY methodology, other benchmark tools are an advantage

- Passion for market data and analytical eye

- Skilled communicator

- Advanced MS Excell and MS Power Point skills
