Director - Cloud & IT Infrastructure - KPO

- Responsible for managing P&L, ensuring profitability - (Billing, Budget, Cost Optimisation, Etc.), Project delivery, thought leadership for the Cloud & Infrastructure portfolio

- Contribute to pre-sales efforts including RFI/RFP responses, client presentations and provide expertise to technical solution & delivery teams

- Responsible for portfolio revenue growth and customer relationship in all Cloud & Infrastructure managed services, transformation or engagement led accounts

- Responsible for leading large team size of 40-80 members comprising of experienced Cloud, Infrastructure & Security consultants, architects, engineers and service delivery professionals

- Provides thought leadership to customers or customer groups on specific or general challenges/ issues specific to the Cloud Migration, transformation or business impact

- Enables direction of competency development and creation of new services/ offerings/ skills in the Cloud , Infrastructure , DevOps & Security domain

- Provide leadership in architecture, Design, Build and Run of Cloud computing with a focus on application and platform technology

- Provide subject matter expertise for multiple Public Cloud vendors and services including IaaS and PaaS

- Oversee vendor agnostic tools, offerings, framework, and solutions in the Cloud roadmap

- Forecasts accurately resource, skill and infrastructure needs. Plans and provides inputs on capacity, resource, finance, etc. into organizational planning process and provide periodic inputs on resource utilization, forecasting for governing purposes

- Drives and demonstrates innovation and value addition to clients resulting in Service Excellence Innovation Score

- Delivering public private and hybrid cloud solutions across IaaS PaaS and SaaS cloud providers

- Leads, collaborates, and communicates architectural vision to architecture, development, and executive teams

- Work with Development Managers, Program Managers, Architects, Software Engineers as well as identify and mentor critical engineering talent and technical leaders

- Understanding of application design principles, practices, system development methodologies, and software life cycles with experience in a combination of system and application architectures

- Leverage industry best practices and technological innovations to provide solutions that contribute to increased IT operational efficiency

- Provide leadership in architecture, Design, Build and Run of DevOps, including the

orchestration/automation of platform provisioning, system configuration, application deployment, application configuration, performance engineering and cloud deployments/ release management; introduce industry adopted best practices and engineer process changes to improve the overall quality of software deployments

- Collaborate with development, architecture and business teams to solicit requirements, design, build and automate the provisioning of platform services to support the software development lifecycle

- Manage the release management practice to uphold the organization's IT change management standards, including overseeing activities pertaining to release scheduling, software builds, deployments, installations, configurations and patches across a wide portfolio of applications

- Demonstrates thought leadership on various facets of management - client care, delivery performance, technology application, people care etc

- Research concepts, conduct special studies, develop proof of concepts based on Cloud technology to exploit new opportunities to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the IT platform and DevOps operations

Key Skills and Competencies :

- Must have a successful track record of building strong Cloud & Infrastructure centric delivery teams, driving client relationship, roadmap development and delivery management

- Exposure to Cloud Delivery, Management, Operations, Cloud Migration & Integration, Cloud Security, Cloud Tools, frameworks and accelerators, Reference Architectures and Cloud Migration frameworks

- Solid knowledge of developing cloud reference architecture and technology roadmaps for solutions across public private and hybrid delivery models

- Strong communication & customer interfacing skills for effective CXO level interaction

- Should be well versed with client management and escalation management

- Must have a prior experience in Cloud Application delivery methodology including DevOps, Agile etc.

- Delivering solutions involving one or more cloud service providers including Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud

- Exposure to development using Pivotal; lifecycle monitoring and application performance management using tools such as ELK, Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic; Cloud assessment using Racemi etc.

- Working knowledge of development tools and practices such as Git, Jenkins, Test Driven Development, StatsD

- Working knowledge of Docker, AngularJS, WebSockets and NoSQL datastores such as Redis, Couchbase, Firebase, MongoDB

- Good to have strong domain knowledge and experience in building Cloud Native Apps, Refactoring, Rehosting and the underlying estimation and processes

- Should have thorough knowledge on the Cloud penetration strategies as per the customer's cloud adoption maturity
