We are close to 450 persons global, diverse and award-winning team, partnering with our business to deliver them a platform of execution for account close, risk close and financial planning processes for the Bank Group. - Focuses on business outcomes, starting with the goal in mind ('works from the right') with the ability to create strong relationships between the business and teams - Is passionate about using technology to realize the future of the business - Innovates for the business, bringing new ideas and technologies - Continuously improves through life-long learning - Is passionate about improving our products, our ways of working, each other and ourselves through continuous improvements - Is seen and see themselves as a pleasure to work with - Has strong ideas &amp; vision, weakly held with the ability to be flexible - Values bias for action using safe-to-fail experiments - Believes in collaboration above all - Values the whole/team rather than the part - Believes in and trusts the combined power of teams and a team of teams - Creates trust in all directions Key Responsibilities - Provide leadership to the Architecture and Design Function for CIO Finance which includes open systems, SAP and the Oracle estate across different data centers - Engage and work with CIO Finance management to define the overall CTO strategy for Finance - Responsible for driving the roadmaps for CIO Finance applications, specifically current reporting applications and future state reporting platform that includes migration to the public cloud (GCP) - Build product roadmap for the reporting platform with collaboration with architects from other areas - Strengthen and run existing forums to drive Application and Infrastructure optimization strategies for CIO Finance through close collaboration - Ensure compliance with central Architecture and Technology Roadmaps for CIO Finance - Engage with the business stakeholders as well as central CTO teams to provide input into enterprise-wide strategies for architecture - Architect the road map for migration of applications to Google Cloud Platform under different models viz. native GCP architecture, hybrid architecture including co-location of infrastructure at GCP, design and support the - heritage- model where GCP us used as IAAS - Work with application teams and legal teams to devise strategies for managing geographic constraints on data and services - Understand the FinOps model for applications (on-premise as well as GCP) and help drive down the overall cost of ownership - Work with CIO Teams to define change budgets for CIO Finance, especially the Reporting platforms - Partner with Product, Engineering through the SAFE Agile PI Planning lifecycle events to ensure infrastructure requirements are fulfilled by the delivery teams &nbsp;Additionally, the role will include management and leadership responsibilities, such as: - Leading and collaborating across teams - Team &amp; Talent management &nbsp;- Mentoring and coaching, leading by example. - Discovering new methods, solutions, techniques and helping others to adopt them - Drive Relentless/continuous improvements &nbsp;- Foster a culture of Innovation Skills and Qualifications : - 20+ years of HANDS-ON experience in architecting/designing, delivering solutions, preferably for the finance department of a universal Bank. - Good functional understanding of Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, and Financial planning processes - Expertise in architecting &amp;/delivering mission-critical solutions for banks within their own data centers as well as on public Cloud platforms (ideally GCP) - A - product mindset- would be extremely desirable - A good understanding of infrastructure topics, especially commercial aspects related to SAP, Oracle Exadata, open systems in the public cloud as well as on-premise/hybrid cloud models - Experience in designing and running different packaged applications such as SAP, Oracle, Openshift/Kubernetes based solutions, different operating systems such as Red Hat, SuSE, Hadoop - Brings deep industry knowledge across infrastructure solutions across a Banking, especially Finance - Brings expertise in developing different infrastructure solutions on applications depending on storage, compute, and network needs - Understands FinOps and overall costs involved in any infrastructure solution - Good knowledge of applications on SAP especially S4/Hana would be an added advantage
