Director - Capital Markets - BFSI (11-22 yrs)

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

- Working directly with the CEO and Head of Finance to develop MPOWER's institutional and retail capital markets strategy, including launching innovative debt structures

- Leading end-to-end deals, from initial presentations through operationalizing and documenting structured finance transactions, all the while coordinating the various stakeholders.

- Building high-quality financial models to deliver insights critical to the success of MPOWER's capital markets strategy

- Driving the due diligence process including collaborating with all functional areas to create material and deliver to stakeholders

- Developing and maintaining relationships with external partners- lenders, investors, lawyers, accountants, etc.

THE QUALIFICATIONS :

Total exp : 11 - 22 years

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or another analytical field. Advanced degree preferred

- 8 -10 years of buy-side leveraged finance experience

- Advanced Excel modeling skills; Fluency with other analytical or modeling tools (SAS, R, VBA, Tableau, etc- ) a plus

- Superior verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broad audiences

- Proven track record of leading a variety of transactions end-to-end (warehouse lines, whole-loan sales, securitization, etc)

- A passion for financial inclusion and access to higher education is a must

In addition, you should be comfortable working in a start-up environment, meaning a small agile team, fast-evolving roles and responsibilities, variable workload and tight deadlines, a high degree of autonomy, and 80-20 everything.
