Role: Director - Campus Life and Student Affairs

Reporting to- Vice Chancellor

Experience- 10+ years

Location- Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh & Kattankulathur, Chennai

The recruited members will play an integral part in the creation and development of the new university and will assist in determining its strategy and direction. The successful candidates will be part of the senior management team reporting to the Vice Chancellor to develop the University's overall strategies, policies and programs

As a Director - Campus Life and Student Affairs the candidate will be focusing on enhancing ways students develop, grow and mature, responsible for the strategic leadership and day-to-day operations of Student Programs and Residence Life on campus.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Director- Campus Life & Student Affairs, so designated in relation to the authority concerned, shall be-

- To ensure a high quality of campus life for the students

- Directs and administers system-wide co-curriculum events, including the forecasting, planning, developing promoting, and evaluation of programs and services that are focused on providing a diverse student body with opportunities for personal growth and leadership development

- To address and resolve any student related issues

- To head the disciplinary committee

- Directs and supervises the development and production of informational materials pertaining to student activities including the district-wide student activities/college event calendar, student news magazine, promotional brochures, and press releases

- To plan/ attend meetings to ensure cross departmental parity

- To advise students and take their pastoral care

Requirements/Eligibility:

- Master's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute

- Preference would be given to candidate having at least 10 years of experience in similar profile with a reputed University / Higher Educational Institution

- Preference would be given for candidates from top engineering institutes with global exposure handling large volume of students

- Candidates are expected to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and must have an intimate knowledge of the higher education landscape in India and internationally

- Candidates with the will to drive the vertical completely by recruiting their own team and set up the policies

Compensation: 28-36 LPA
