University level education from a top tier University, preferably with an MBA or equivalent degree
- 10+ years of experience in business management, or management consulting, with exposure to financial services sector
- Sound financial knowledge with a cost management focus
- Strong project / change management skills, including in MS Powerpoint and MS Excel, with experience in presenting to senior stakeholders and/or large audience
- Excellent analytical skills combined with strong written and verbal communication skills
- A reputation for building effective relationships and influencing decisions amongst business partners and stakeholders
- Be an effective and collaborative team player - drive effective cross functional coordination, constructively challenge where required and ensure integrity and respect at all times.
- Experience in IT financial reporting, reconciliation as well as IT organizational and governance design
- Good understanding of audits, risk, BCP and regulatory environment in the financial industry
- Ability to work on own initiative and thinking out of the box
