Director - Business Finance - Internet/eCommerce (5-10 yrs)
As the Director of Business Finance, you will be responsible for driving the financial strategy of our company and working closely with management and cross-functional teams to drive alignment between cash flow and P&L of the business. You will also be responsible for identifying high-impact initiatives, partnerships, and alliances, identify top opportunities for margin generation and optimization, and plug gaps in unit economics.
Responsibilities :
- Drive alignment between cash flow and P&L of the business
- Identify and implement high impact initiatives, partnerships, and alliances to improve cash flows (receivables & payables optimization)
- Identify top opportunities for margin generation and optimization.
- Identify and plug gaps in unit economics.
- Plan and forecast for new initiatives and LOBs, eg. flights, transport, visa, forex, events etc.
- Senior stakeholder management, including relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Stay up to date with financial regulations and industry trends.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in business finance, or a related field, with a strong track record of creating impact.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of financial modeling and forecasting techniques
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Experience in senior stakeholder management
