Director - Business Finance (8-15 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Business Partnering:

- Influence and drive business decision making with appropriate scenario building, analysis and comments

- From time to time, assist in in-depth analysis of key financial information, identify exception/ inconsistencies, initiate action and follow-up for logical closure

- Define, identify and track appropriate metrics, KPIs and associated drivers

- Partner with cross-functional teams such as category, supply chain operations, product/tech and planning to take strategic initiatives in cost optimisation & other areas

- Collaborate with diverse set of stakeholders to drive standardization, automation, cost reduction & process efficiency projects. Plan pilots, monitor performance and scale initiatives
- 
Support leadership in building business cases and cost simulations under different scenario

Budgeting & Forecasting :

- Responsible for developing monthly, quarterly and annual operating plan along with initiatives, how lists and measurable targets. Be responsible for obtaining sign off from all stakeholders

- Work with relevant stakeholders to close actual cost for the month. Ensure that accruals are in-line with agreed commercials framework

- Track supply chain leg-wise and fulfilment partner wise cost & KPIs against agreed plan. Prepare & lead weekly/monthly reviews with business leads with appropriate comments/deep dive and action items

Process Improvements, Controls & Commercials:

- Review and strengthen existing business & operational processes to drive right accountability and ensuring strong controls are in place

- Partner with controllership org to identify, plug & build robust processes to reduce shrinkages

- Support procurement and business teams in commercial negotiations with service providers
