Key Responsibilities:
- The Director Business Development will be responsible for setting up a new Education Technology division from scratch and meeting the sustainable revenue growth plans of the new division.
- Developing long term and short-term revenue growth strategy and market share for Education vertical with a focus on USA geography. This will include universities, colleges, schools, educational service providers etc
- Responsible for selling IT services to educational institutions in US market.
- Responsible for dealing with universities, government organizations in the US.
- Build a strong process driven environment for the Execution of various organizational functional objectives including direct sales, account management, alliances/channels, sales operations and business development.
- Building a strong solution selling approach targeted at C-suite decision makers within the customer organization
- Building, coaching and leading high performance sales teams to meet organizational and personal growth objectives
- Meet various financial and business objectives like annual recurring revenue, unit productivity, unit volumes, gross margin, free cash flow etc
- Work closely with the engineering teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer success.
Education and Experience:
- Graduate/MBA with 12 years of experience in sales and delivery catering to global education sector.
- US experience mandatory.
