The Business Development Director is responsible for executing business development activities in Kabul and abroad. He/she is an integral part of the business development team and responsible for all the activities related to business development of OUR CLIENT. The role is responsible for selling OUR CLIENT services and products to clients and developing its business within and outside Afghanistan. For the purpose of building market awareness of OUR CLIENT business and maintaining awareness of market trends and emerging demands, the position calls on the industry and also entails networking with range of industry partour clientpants and stakeholders. The position reports to the CEO of OUR CLIENT. The role also is responsible for overseeing business development and marketing initiatives within OUR CLIENT. The position requires providing strategic direction to the team in the areas of sales management, product development, distribution channel management, marketing communications, including advertising and promotions, prour clients, market research, and customer service. To sum up, the Director of business development position is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive internal and external marketing plan that would increase revenues and profits for the group and positions OUR CLIENT as the lead incorporation in the country. This position is expected to uphold the mission and values established by the organization.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Engage strategically as a senior member of OUR CLIENT team to formulate business development strategy for the group that is aligned with international best practices;

- Identify business opportunities, and propose new business ideas that can generate business for the group;

- Coordinate closely with OUR CLIENT subsidiary companies in business development formulation and implementations processes;

- Devise effour client and practical systems for the business development and operation of OUR CLIENT and its subsidiary companies;

- Perform market research and analysis, stakeholder mapping, and demand and supply analysis of different business opportunities considered by OUR CLIENT for investment;

- Prepare three years business plan of OUR CLIENT

- Draft complete structure of Business Development Department

- To make sure system is in place for Business Development Department

- Develop and write quality business proposals, business strategy and business polour clientes for use of the organization;

- Develop rapport with OUR CLIENT stakeholders including government, financial institutions, donors, universities, private sector etc to ensure all stakeholders are kept abreast of OUR CLIENT portfolio and its evolving products and services;

- Work closely with OUR CLIENT leadership to translates strategic objectives into market-specific products and services;

- Undertake investment analysis of various business ventures, and perform financial analysis and cost-benefit analysis to determine the ex-ante feasibility of proposed businesses;

- Evaluate operational and capacity issues at OUR CLIENT level to determine how competitive and current it is with the latest trends in the industry;

- Monitor external and internal environment on regular basis for the development of new market segments and new business opportunities.

- Lead the development of feasibility studies/business plans for new product development of OUR CLIENT and its subsidiaries;

- Perform stakeholder/ been four clientary evaluation process to gain feedback from OUR CLIENT benefour clientaries and suggest improvements in the system accordingly;

- To keep up to date with relevant economic and security developments in the country and the region which affects the overall investment climate in Afghanistan;

- Prepare periodic reports as and when needed by the management;
