We are scouting for Director/Associate Director - Public Relations & Corporate Communications for one of our clients (One of the largest smartphone brands).

Experience: 15-18 yrs

Work location: Gurgaon, India

Role Purpose

- To build and maintain a positive brand image of the company, create media campaigns and maintain relationship with different stakeholders which will shape public opinion of the company and increase awareness of brand across all platforms.

- Responsible for PR and internal communications for organization as a corporate inclusive of its various business units. Corporate reputation management, PR planning and overseeing for establishing a strong national profile, media relations, crisis communication management, internal communications to drive strategic alignment and collaborations.

Key Responsibilities: 

- Formulate PR Strategy that not only furthers organizational long term objectives but also help influence public opinion on brand, products, services, partnerships etc.

- Closely work with senior management across various organization entities i.e. Financial services, R&D Centre, Mobile internet operations and manufacturing industrial park to build a comprehensive brand narrative

- Work with internal business heads to understand and execute their department's communication requirements which are in line with the overall strategy

- Manage multi-stakeholder outreach for corporate reputation & brand transformation campaigns

- Lead communications & media outreach across the country to not only form strong relationships with core media but also build confidence in organization brand

- Work with internal stakeholders, to understand the marketing, product and business imperatives and manage/plan the overall PR & communication for the brand through product & corporate led announcements

- Proficiency in devising core messages as per the brand positioning which is in line with integrated communication plans

- Prolific writing skills with know-how to influence and educate media as well as the end consumer. Additionally- Plan, Produce & Curate content which can be used for various communication purposes, such as Press Releases, Authored Articles, White Papers, Info graphics, Advertorials, Blogs, Product key notes, etc.

- Manage large teams across geographies, with focus on driving results through performance oriented process

- Monitor and analyse competitive/ industry / sector developments to identify opportunities or crisis

- Track the performance of all marketing campaigns and collaterals. Identify ways to improve for future marketing campaigns

- Predict risk through industry insight in a timely and an effective manner

Job Requirement : 

- 15+ years of experience in PR/Corporate Communication. This might include roles in PR agencies, corporate PR departments, or as a journalist

- Must possess knowledge of marketing trends and strategies to apply the same to practicality

- Should have a keen sense of news and familiarity with global media and trends in related fields

- Experience working for or with a global organization in a consumer and/or corporate PR capacity

- Extensive knowledge and network with media/journalists across country

- Ability to manage large teams and work as a core link between cross-functional departments

- Must possess the knowledge and expertise to skillfully handle crisis and other reactive PR situations with grace and ease

- Highly collaborative with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills;

- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to continually prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic, creative, fast paced environment
