Director/Associate Director - Admissions Job Profile : - We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Director / Associate Director of Admissions to join our university. - You will be responsible for helping the students with the admission processes and requirements. - You should be able to explain various admission policies and procedures to the students. - You will attract students to the University through proper planning strategies, promoting the University Nationally / Internationally for Students' admission. - Besides, you should also be able to assist in the preparation of admission guidelines and in the implementation of the same. - You should also be able to develop various promotional events such as campus tours and interviews. Moreover, you should also be willing to visit and promote the Universities admission procedures at other events across the country. - As a Director / Associate Director of Admissions, you should have complete knowledge of the educational policies and regulations. Furthermore, you should be familiar with various campus management software. - Your excellent presentation skills and proven work experience in this field will be an asset to this job role. - If you can provide the necessary support and academic consultation to the students, then do write to us. Responsibilities : - Explaining admission process and guidelines to the students - Assisting in planning and implementing admission guidelines - You will work in tandem with Vice Chancellor, Registrar, and Deans to set criteria and standards for admission. - You will organize exhibitions and open houses for students and their parents at the Campus and other places nationally. - You will plan and execute student admissions from various parts of the country and from abroad. - Provide relevant and proper information to the incoming students during the counseling session within the University / at events organized outside - To lead and create marketing materials like brochures, pamphlets, banners, merchandise, hoardings, etc. with help of external agencies - Lead and finalize materials for a newspaper advertisement, education fairs, and digital media. - Coordinating the activities of staff members involved during admission sessions. - To arrange standard question papers for the entrance examination, schedule the online Entrance Examination dates, and oversee the smooth conduct of the examination. - To schedule the counseling of students and parents and complete the admission process smoothly. - Finalize scholarships for deserving and quality students. - Ensure adequate hospitality is extended to the parents and students at the time of admission. - Evaluating student applications before accepting or rejecting the same - Providing assistance regarding applications for financial aid or any other admission procedures - Coordinating with the various department heads to understand the admission status and statistics - Visiting the different school and college campuses to promote admission procedures across the country - Providing brochures and pamphlets explaining admission requirements to students Requirements : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field - Proven work experience as a Director Admission / Associate Director, Academic Advisor, or a similar position in a University - Complete understanding of the admission procedures, education policies, rules, and regulations - Familiarity with various campus management software. - Good time management and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent presentation and negotiation skills - Having an eye for detail, a Highly motivated individual & Having strong work ethics - Willingness to travel to different locations and work at flexible hours - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members - Ability to provide excellent customer service
