To lead the newly incubated Digital Performance & Data Services business vertical and provide vision, expertise, leadership and direction to grow the business to generate $20-30M revenues and become one of the strongest engines of growth

Responsibilities

Strategic

- Envision the roadmap for the business to achieve revenue and profitability targets year over year and execute to plan

- Draw up the vision of data led performance marketing solutions that can help the company reach out to a wider prospect market

- Guide the creation of frameworks to set up the foundational data platform for client businesses complete with structure, organization and automation of data management processes to enable deeper and advanced data usage

- Set up the foundations and culture in the business vertical for data driven performance oriented decision making

- Collaborate with business development in enabling sales through well thought out compelling proposals

- Collaborate with other business verticals to identify opportunities for integrated solutions

Operational

- Provide solution guidance and expertise to project teams in achieving the client business goals

- Manage the deployment of frameworks, processes and tools on the projects to drive quality and efficient delivery

- Drive full automation of data management to rationalize manual handling of data that makes it prone to errors and inefficiency

- Drive an understanding of digital businesses in the team through structured frameworks to ensure the right solution deployment

- Create governance to manage the goals of client satisfaction on projects through quality, error free and timely delivery

- Follow a structured methodology of building capabilities of the team members on data analytics solutions in digital marketing

- 9+ years of professional experience in digital marketing or a related field and 5+ years of experience in advanced data analytics

- Passionate, with a deep knowledge and curiosity, about digital marketing, data analytics, and cross-channel marketing technologies, methodologies, and best practice

- Strong capabilities in business consulting and developing data analytic and cross-channel marketing strategy and tactical plans

- Hands-on experience in at least one scripting language is preferred

- Strong desire and experience with data in various forms (data warehouses/SQL, unstructured data environments, NO SQL) will be a plus

- Experience setting up data platforms and infrastructure in complex environments will be a plus

- Experience of leading and managing teams is preferred

- Proven success in guiding an organization or client to deliver business results

Knowledge and Skill

Technical Knowledge

- Strong knowledge and understanding of data in the digital marketing ecosystem

- Strong foundational knowledge of web analytics platform suites such as those of Adobe, Google, etc. will be a plus

- Extensive experience in managing large, complex data analytics projects

- Knowledge of SEO, paid marketing channels and user experience optimization will be a plus

- Background in Reporting, Operational Data Analytics and Big Data Analytics will be preferred

Behavioural Skills

- Ability to think strategically to impact business outcomes and create strategic roadmaps

- Strong and engaging communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the proven ability to lead strategic planning meetings with senior-level marketing clients

- Proven success as a subject matter expert in sales pitches, contributing to proposals and presentations

- Entrepreneurial self-starter and an effective team leader who is resourceful and focused on building teams and creating success for clients and internal teams

- Team player who is willing to roll up his/her shirt sleeves and help execute projects at a detailed, tactical level as needed in an early-stage company. This will require remaining up-to-date with the current, state-of-the art technologies and methodologies

- Creative flair and enthusiasm for new ideas and concepts

- Passion for digital marketing and flair for data driven decision making
