- Overall Admissions Strategy
- Evaluate & Define Seat Allotment across all Faculties in sync with the respective Faculty Head with a clear thought process on Course Demand, Acceptability & Saleability in the Market.
- Develop a clear plan on Student Enquiry Lead requirements across all Faculties in sync with the Admission Funnel which consists of Lead Generation, Interested Students, Paid Applications, ugpet / pgpet exams, GD/PI Rounds, Offer Letter Issuance, Admission Acceptance, Cancellations, etc.
- Communicate the Admission Strategy & Requirements to the Marketing Director in sync with the Executive President & Faculty Heads
- Translate all strategies into action items for execution by and with direct reports and other University staff.
- Build an annual budget for all Admissions Staff inclusive of fixed & variable components to aggressively drive the Admission Process ensuring outcomes justify the expenses
- Create and oversee communication programs that effectively promote the University, its Vision & Mission Student Enquiry Nurturing
- Build a strong Lead Nurturing Team in association with the Contact Centre Manager - defining clear processes on lead contact, follow ups & paid applications. Build a strong escalation matrix on lead follow ups & paid application.
- Establish clear communication channels with the Marketing Director / Team to ensure timely feedback given on lead quality across various platforms, programs & geographical distribution.
- Define a clear - Student Communication - plan engaging the student right from enquiry to admission
Admission Process & Student Support :
- Plan a clear road map with ugpet / pgpet dates, activities & responsibilities for each member of the team to ensure top-quality experience to students from date of application to admission confirmation.
- Define clear processes on putting up the merit list, issuing offer letters & admission acceptance with clear tracking of data across all stages.
- Share regular reports on the entire process - from lead enquiry to admission confirmation with respective faculty & solicit their support wherever required.
Technology :
- Be hands-on on all Tech Applications used within the university like Sales Force, ERP etc & al other tools as may be required from time to time
Stakeholder Relationship Management :
- Work Closely with all HOS / Deans / ProVCs / VC & the Exec President to understand the program dynamics & student acquisition dynamics
Market Analysis & New Program Launches :
- Be aware of what the Industry Practices are in Student Recruitment & ensure that the University follows the best practices
- Maintain industry connects & keep a tab on seat allotments across different faculties in different universities / colleges & strategize on how University can launch various specialized programs
