Director - Ad Sales - Digital Payment Firm (12-15 yrs)

The company is India's largest transactions platform built on payments. It is the crusader of UPI payments and a proud contributor to the hypergrowth of the world's most advanced payments system.

They want to make digital payments so easy, safe and universally accepted that people never feel the need to carry cash or cards again.

The company is setting up its Monetization business and is building a high-performance Advertising sales team.

They are looking for a leader who can build the sales team and grow the Ad monetization business. They are looking for highly driven sales people who will play a key role in shaping the business, the product and the business model. As a revenue owner, you will be leading and managing the portfolio of Advertisers. They want to build a strong business relationship which help leverage reach and deliver long term success to our advertising partners.

Own and deliver the Ad Sales revenue targets for the company.

- Defining the market for the portfolio, identifying the right partners to work with and identifying the right product-market fit.

- Create and own the business model for the portfolio and define the strategy to scale the business.

- Build out a strong Ad sales team to deliver on the revenue number

- Planning, developing, and evaluating of new consumer-driven advertising initiatives on a consistent basis, developing and acting upon marketing opportunities, based on consumer needs in order to guarantee consumer satisfaction.

- Establishing strong long-term relationships with partners; and building a sustainable & profitable business.

- Contribute to the overall growth and profit of business by expanding our partner ecosystem.

Candidate Experience

- 12+ years- experience in Marketing/Brand Management/Sales/Digital Sales/Partner management.

- Proven and successful track record of influencing, meeting, and exceeding advertising sales targets as well as the business's overall targets set by the business.

- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically. Adept at making data-driven decisions.

- Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment Should be able to contribute both as an individual contributor and as leader of people.

- Strong understanding of the advertising.

- Prior experience with India based ad networks (on the demand side) and/or with Media Agencies with strong digital sales presence.

- MBA from a Top Tier B-School.
