What is the Job like?

- Curate and contribute to the development of highly-creative on-brand content (email, blog, infographics, eBooks, whitepapers, webinars, videos, etc.) necessary to support inbound lead gen efforts

- Deeply understand the market by speaking with customers, partners, and influencers as well as industry experts

- Help identify challenges, opportunities and differentiators, to source content and develop stories that truly engage our core target market (SMBs)

- Set and measure KPIs for content Paint the picture for the market on how Flock can transform small- and medium-sized businesses to focus on what they do best through more effective communication/collaboration

- Mapping out a content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives, both short- and long-term, determining which methods work for the brand and why. Continuous evolvement of strategy is a must

- Integrating - always-on- content activities within traditional marketing campaigns to deliver measurable business value in the form of new demand

- Conducting ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness. Gathering data and handle analytics and make recommendations based on those results

- Leveraging market data can to develop thought leadership content themes/topics and execute a plan to develop the assets that support a point of view and educate customers that leads to critical behavioral metrics

- Act as a brand steward and interpret the content strategy across all channels including multiple newsletters, website, social, podcasting and video

- Develop and maintain the infrastructure to produce thoughtful co-marketing that engages our target audience through partners and other third-party brands

Who can apply for this role?

- 6+ years of content marketing experience within an organization where content was responsible for a significant portion of revenue creation

- 2+ years of experience managing a high performing team of content marketers

- A first principles thinker. You've built or been part of an organization that has implemented a world-class content marketing team that others try to emulate and have challenge accepted best practices(you know what a pillar page is and you know how to move a piece of content from the third page to the first page on Google)

- You're a master storyteller, folks say you have immaculate written and oral communication skills

- You are passionate about building teams and mentoring individuals You have expertise with managing external resources
