Direct Tax - A leading law firm in Mumbai and a leading insurance company is looking to hire a direct tax professional for their tax team in Mumbai. - The professional should be Responsible for development and broking of M&A tax risk insurance within the Private Equity & M&A team. - Advising global private equity funds and corporates on tax indemnity insurance policies in relation to Indian tax including but not limited to DTAA, WHT, CGT related risks for complex and multi-jurisdictional M&A deals. - Required to assist with the placement of tax insurance solutions through the preparation of submissions and indication summaries, assisting clients through underwriting process, and other related responsibilities. - Negotiate the terms of the Tax Liability policy on behalf of the client to obtain the best coverage position.
