Direct Tax Role - CA

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Direct Tax Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our team. As a Direct Tax CA, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our company's direct tax obligations. This role requires in-depth knowledge and experience in direct tax laws, regulations, compliance, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

- Direct Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation, filing, and payment of direct tax returns, including income tax, advance tax, withholding tax, and other related filings.

- Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's direct tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

- Tax Advisory: Provide expert advice and guidance to management on direct tax matters, including tax implications of business decisions, transactions, and investments.

- Audit Support: Coordinate and manage direct tax audits conducted by tax authorities, including preparation of responses, documentation, and representation before tax authorities.

- Research and Analysis: Stay updated on changes in direct tax laws, regulations, and judicial pronouncements, and conduct research to assess their impact on the company's tax position.

- Transfer Pricing: Manage transfer pricing documentation and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to transfer pricing regulations and guidelines.

- Tax Reporting: Prepare direct tax provisions, disclosures, and related financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and business teams, to ensure alignment of tax strategies with overall business objectives.

- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential direct tax risks, including exposure to tax disputes, penalties, and interest.
