Direct Banking Auditor - Bank

Job Responsibilities:

1. To work as team leader in Direct Banking Audit team and manage Department Audits as per calendar assigned.

2. To carry-out calendar planning for the Team and Pre- preparation of audits and able to understand the data and apply adequate sampling methodology to select samples with possible exceptions.

3. To carry-out and ensure the coverage of Audit areas by team based on audit scope and completion of audit within turnaround time.

4. To be able to identify the risk associated with each processes and assess the effectiveness of controls implemented to mitigate the risk.

5. Timely, accurate and effective documentation of Audit Reports on exceptions observed during the course of audit and Close looping of audit observations to arrive at level of risk

6. Discussion of Audit observations with the Auditee and arrive at corrective action required in order to adhere the laid down processes.

7. Review of trends in various business areas to identify / highlight concerning trends viz, Transaction Trends, Income & Expense trend, Profitability trend, Sale of various products, etc.

8. Review of the compliance from the Auditee and recommend for closure of audit file.

9. Reading Circulars issued by regulators as well as internal circulars/ process and co-relating with the audit areas assigned to identify the non-adherence to regulatory guidelines.

10. Hand-holding to team members to ensure seamless performance of team members/Team building/recruitment to ensure the team is staffed as per budget allocated.
