Job Summary:

- We are seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable Regulatory Reporting Analyst/Manager to join our compliance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Reporting Preparation:

- Prepare and submit accurate and timely regulatory reports to relevant authorities ([mention specific regulatory bodies, SEC, FINRA, FDA, EMA, local regulatory agencies]).

- Ensure all reports comply with applicable regulations, guidelines, and deadlines.

- Maintain detailed documentation of reporting processes and supporting data.

Regulatory Compliance Monitoring:

- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and reporting standards.

- Interpret and apply complex regulatory guidelines to ensure ongoing compliance.

- Conduct regular reviews of internal processes to identify potential compliance gaps.

Data Analysis and Validation:

- Collect, analyze, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness for reporting purposes.

- Perform data reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.

- Develop and maintain data quality controls.

Reporting System Management:

- Utilize and maintain regulatory reporting systems and tools.

- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and system efficiency.

- Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement system updates and enhancements.

Audit Support:

- Assist with internal and external audits related to regulatory reporting.

- Provide documentation and explanations to auditors as required.

- Implement corrective actions to address audit findings.

Stakeholder Communication:

- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding regulatory reporting requirements and deadlines.

- Provide guidance and support to other departments on reporting-related matters.

- Respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies.

Process Improvement and Documentation:

- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for regulatory reporting processes.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Team Leadership (Manager Level):

- Supervise and mentor junior regulatory reporting staff.

- Assign tasks and monitor team performance.

- Ensure timely and accurate completion of team deliverables.

- Provide guidance and training to team members.

Qualifications:

Experience:

- Analyst: 2-5 years of experience in regulatory reporting or compliance roles.

- Manager: 5+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, with experience leading a team.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements.


Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, SQL, reporting software).

- Experience with regulatory reporting systems.

- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).

Soft Skills:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Professional certifications related to regulatory compliance or the specific industry.

- Experience with specific regulatory reporting frameworks (Basel III, Solvency II, EMIR, MiFID II).

- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
