UTS provides complete solutions to the problems that are often faced by the learners while opting for online education. The unique UTS solution does away with the need for classroom learning with the entire curriculum delivered in an online mode via a Learning Management System (LMS) , interactive content delivery via video sessions , on phone student counseling for both academic and administrative matters and tablet based content delivery for anytime any where consumption of the content. Examinations are held across the country via centers where the student comes in and takes online examinations.

UTS has its presence throughout the country through a network of 70 franchisee centers, along with a captive 300 seater call center at its HQ in Pune.

UTS is a learning resource provider to Universities and institutions such as MITSDE, Jaipur National University (JNU) and Assam Downtown University (ADTU).

It is now poised for aggressive expansion with new premium academic partners and is also focused on both the regulated and the non regulated spaces. Growth plans include inorganic acquisitions, new partner launches, international expansion, new service offerings to existing partners and fine-tuning operational delivery.

It is to support these growth initiatives that UTS is looking for talent to come on board and take the company though a steady growth stage in the coming few years.

KAIZEN PE FUND has invested in UTS approx. 35 crores and would commit more if required for the next 4-5 years.

Head Marketing

Function: Head Marketing & Branding

Location: Bavdhan, Pune

Reporting Manager: CEO / COO

Key Accountabilities:

- Determine and execute the customer Acquisitions Marketing Strategy using online as the lead medium for the company.

- To be responsible for improving the design, usability, content and conversion points of the company website and for the promotion and growth of the organization.

- The person will need to be adept in all forms of performance marketing including SEO, SEM, Performance display, Brand Display, Social, Mobile.

- Managing SOV and optimizing COA on an on an ongoing basis to ensure share of market.

- Demonstrated ability to build strategic relationships with Media partners is a must.

- Be process focused and having a quality orientation with formal qualifications like Six Sigma will be an advantage.

- Ability to communicate across and work with cross functional teams.

- Dimensionalise, Organize and Rationalize team quality and quantity as needed.

- Manage team performance metrics.

- To be responsible for the smooth running and completion of projects across site builds, online advertising, social media, maximizing online sales opportunities and search marketing for new partner launches.

- Support the On ground sales channel via promotions and collateral support.

Qualification:

- Post Graduates with MBA (Marketing).

Experience:

- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in online media or corporate agency marketing.

- The ideal candidate will be someone who has set up and led the marketing department of a small to midsized ecommerce company and is familiar with call center sales operations.

- Large Team handling experience.

- Customer Acquisition experience.

Skills:

- Excellent Communications skills, both written and verbal. Must possess strong Interpersonal and project management skills.

- Good presentation skills.

- Strong analytical skills, numerical skills.

- Should be aware of market research methodologies.

- Strong understanding the digital landscape and how it can be used to support and develop the brand.

- Ability to deliver under stretched timelines is mandatory.
