JOB DESCRIPTION :

- Responsible for the complete editorial deliveries including editorial planning, writing major stories, selection of articles, editing and finalization of the dummy

- Ensure the maintenance of quality standards for editorial and advertorial content as per the prescribed guidelines

- Manage the digital assets including regular updating of the website and broadcast of the e-newsletters

- Co-ordinate with the design team

- Engage with the relevant stakeholders in Sales and clients

DESIRED PROFILE :

- Preferably with qualifications in journalism from a reputed institution

- Experience of atleast 8-10 years including minimum two years as an Editor/Deputy Editor/Business Editor in a leading global/regional media company managing a publication independently

- Hands on experience of managing a news website, working on CMS and broadcast of an e-newsletter

- Proven credentials in writing and editing for business publications/sections, preference for those who have worked on content targeted at global or Middle East audience

- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment independently

- Brilliant in news judgment, exceptional in giving razor-sharp headlines and amazing ability to convert news reports into a compulsive reading

- Deep understanding of economic environment in the Middle East. Preference for those with experience of covering policy, energy, banking & finance, technology and luxury domains in the region
