We are an Insurtech startup (currently in stealth mode) which is looking to disrupt the Insurance business model in India. We are at a very initial stage, we have designed the product and other functionalities which we plan to adopt in our business and have assigned the development work to couple of IT vendors who are working on building a website and an android app for our business. It is from here we require a CTO who can take over the technical stack for our business. We are looking for CTO/Co-founder with 6-12 years of experience who have hands on experience in coding/development, building technology blocks, help answer choice of certain platform/tech over other, helping team visualize product with the available resources and assets. It would be highly desirable if he/she has a Data science background who can apply the concepts of ML/AI and Big data analytics for new product development and Insurance Pricing in Non-Life. Also, he/she would be required to assist the founder during the investor meet and in fund raising in next few months. The vision is to disrupt the traditional Insurance model in India initially as well as globally at the later stage. The idea is to build the best-in-class team in the space and drive innovation through the business model and use of technology. Founder :&nbsp; The founder is highly experienced in the Insurance and Capital Markets domain with experience gained from Hedge Fund, Consulting and Investment Banks. Now, he is looking for a CTO who can partner with him and turn his research into a working application. Work Experience :&nbsp; 6-12 years (Work experience from a startup is a plus) Education qualification: UG (must)/ PG (best) from IITs/IIITs/ BITS/NITs Primary Responsibilities : 1. Work with the Founder in building the vision, architecture, team, technology stack and platform 2. Should constantly keep yourself updated with all new trends, technologies and approaches that could make our product better. 3. Post the investor funding, Recruit, hire and lead the technology team &amp; related vendors 4. Help build, manage, and validate a Tech Roadmap for its Products. 5. Architecture Practices: At startup, the dynamics of change; changes very fast. Making sure that best practices are defined and followed by team is very important. 6. Methodology: With time, help build progressive learning culture and establish predictable model of envisioning, designing and developing products. 7. Given that, CTO is an executive Tech leader, it's easy for him to understand the business opportunities which Insuretech Product could create. CTO's bring the perspective of tech as a differentiator for startup. 8. Help in building a great place to work, which is a lot of fun &amp; develops great team spirit. Skill-set : - Strong hold in frontend and backend development and algorithms. - Hands on experience in coding in PHP, Java, Python, Spark,SQL, JQuery, Javascript, HTML and CSS. - Proficient in Advanced Analytics and using SAS, ML Packages &amp; Frameworks. - Experience with debugging tools like selenium, xdebug. - Deep expertise and understanding of Natural language Processing. You must have hands on experience in -developing and maintaining NLP based project that includes text classification, information extraction, relationship extraction, language modeling, Information retrieval, summarization, shallow parsing, automated indexing and unsupervised clustering. (Highly required). - You must have knowledge of building application for Android, IOS and Web application using either hybrid application like Ionic\React Native or Native platform. (Intermediate requirement). Compensation : Will prefer if a generous equity will suffice, but willing to provide a sustenance salary.
