Position Name : Manager - Manufacturing

Level : L5-B

Reports to : Head - Manufacturing Excellence

Purpose of the Role :

- Lead/facilitate plant leadership team in their implementation of the Manufacturing Excellence journey.

- Facilitate improvement in performance, standards and capability through the ManEx journey.

- Manage Process Capability and Training& Development Teams in addition to the Manex Agenda.

- Provide Manufacturing Excellence subject matter expertise, offering strategic guidance at all Tiers.

- Lead Site management to ensure consistency of approach and alignment of Diageo Standards

ROLE REQUIREMENTS :

Qualification :

- Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree, MS or MBA preferred

Experience :

- 10+ years of Consumer Goods manufacturing & Process Improvement experience

Knowledge & skills :

- Thorough knowledge of Manufacturing Excellence principles

- Strong focus on Process Improvement, Waste Reduction, Efficiency Optimization & Excellence Problem Solving Skills

- Stong influencing skill and should persuade senior stakeholders, using data, that the investment of resources in their improvement plans will deliver the correct results.

- Effectively manages relationships, internal and external to achieve world class performance outcome

- Demonstrates great leadership to drive people performance to consistently deliver results & sustain culture change
