Role: Audit COE Manager

The role is responsible for streamlining the audit methodology, bring best practices and standardization within IA relating directly with CIA's office. The role is also required to be the SPOC between the IA team members and key stakeholders at Corporate to achieve the above objective and to appropriately highlight issues.

Qualification: MBA Finance (Tier 1 college), CA

Experience:

- 5+ years post qualification experience

- Experience of working in advisory / consulting role in Big4 or similar organization.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Previous experience in effectively and efficiently designing, implementing and managing controls and accounts.

- Excellent knowledge of Indian Accounting, Tax, labour and industrial law and its application to the organization

- Strong systems understanding and application in audit scenarios (ERP and Analytical tools)

- High proficiency in internal audit controls and procedures

- Expertise in SOX compliance

- Knowledge of risk assessment frameworks and methodologies

Internal Audit:

- Standardize and monitor the audit methodology/workflow/ways of working and keep CIA's office informed

- Responsible for standardization of work papers and evolving constantly to have best in class IA practice

- Review all audit reports to identify issues which needs specific management attention /which needs to be reviewed in other regions also to assess national impact

- Provide key inputs for design and deployment of control initiatives through regional auditors

- Follow-up:

- Tracking & monitoring implementation efforts of the business for recommendations given

- Provide periodic updates to CIA office on follow up status

- Pre-empt milestone issues and discuss with business and/or CIA office to identify solutions

- Prepare management update documents

- Assist in roll out of CIA initiatives

- Spearhead L&D efforts based on inputs from entire IA team

- Be the SPOC for Compliance, CARM, Legal teams internally and statutory auditors (external) for various requirements

Governance and Compliance:

- Support in the creation and implementation of effective governance, compliance and risk management frameworks across Diageo India to drive holistic performance and maintain reputation

- Ensure pro-active input into preventative actions to address key business risks

- Support in resolution of issues and proactively create an environment where risk is avoided

- Champion the embedding of a compliance culture within the organization
