Position Name : Lead - Technical Manager Productivity (Packaging)

Level : L5-B- Technical Manager productivity (Packaging)

Reports to : Lead - Lead - Productivity (I&BC)

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE : This role is responsible for identifying & executing the productivity projects end to end - from concept to commercialization thereby ensuring optimization of designs, processes and mechanisms to provide a solution which is cost optimization and fit for purpose & relevant to the consumers

OPERATING NETWORK :

Other Roles/Teams : WITHIN the Function : Manufacturing, Sourcing, Project team, Plant, RQC and Unit QC

Divisions/ Departments OUTSIDE the Function : Marketing & sales

External Interface : Packaging Material suppliers

TYPICAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS :

Qualification:

- P G Diploma from Indian institute of Packaging or equivalent Institute

Experience:

- 6 to 12 years in Packaging Manufacturing/conveter/ FMCG industry (in Paper & Paper Board, Glass PET and/or Packaging Material Printing process)

- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing/technical development role (preferred)

Knowledge & skills:

- Ability to work closely with cross functional team

- Knowledge on SOP creation, Technical Specification Development etc.

- Knowledge in Packaging lines( filling,sealing, labeling machines) & end to end Pack Validation

- Is Subject Matter Expert on the respective Packaging Material Category
