TYPICAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS :
Qualification:
- Graduate in Statistics/Economics/Quantitative sciences/ Engineering or equivalent
- Master's / MBA preferred
Experience :
- 7-9 years of experience in a similar background
- 4-5 years of experience in leading analytics teams
Knowledge & skills :
- Knowledge of of data modeling
- Business analytics, decision trees, cluster analysis, analytics tools
- Master data management
- Data warehousing

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY :
Analytics :
- Support executive decision making by sharing insights derived from advanced analytics
- Identify, develop and deliver key analytics projects based on the defined overall business strategy that will make a significant impact on the organization
- Responsible for owning all the data sources (coming in and going out) and ensuring data availability within USL across all systems
- Responsible for setting up processes and systems for master data management
- Work closely and collaborate with multiple stakeholders such as business partners, solution architects and analysts to design tools using latest technologies
- Design and develop data warehouse to ensure global alignment and scalability
- Ensure smooth data exchange across applications avoiding any duplication
- Lead the delivery of agreed reports, dashboards and analytics through service providers
- Responsible for modelling complex problems and processes using various analytical tools and methods
- Work across functions & teams to solve problem, measure and track suitable metrics for efficiency and effectiveness
- Display knowledge of different Data Analytics Tools/ Techniques, Database Management Systems, Statistical Modelling and optimization
- Develop deep capabilities in reporting, testing and optimization, measurement and customer segmentation to service business needs
- Efficiency of using different analytics tools/ techniques
- Quality of insights and actionable submitted
- No. of insights submitted as per the agreed time frame
- TAT for reports/dashboard that need to be published
- Accuracy of reports/ dashboard that need to be published
