Job Purpose (Summary of position) - Responsible for closely working with Sales and Operations to work on Pricing Request and respond the customer RFQs - Support the CXO team in report and MIS building to drive pricing strategy - ERP implementation for Contract Management and RFQ and providing BRD, UAT, and implementation Differentiator (Strategic & Management impact and contribution specification) : - Pricing innovation through process Improvement and automation in the Pricing Model. Continuous evaluation through Pricing report for KPIs, cockpit and ad-hoc reports - Create the Pricing policies & procedures, rules of engagement with Sales and other stakeholders to create a streamlined workflow for Sales submitted requests and RFQ within the stimulated TAT Key Tasks (main duties and responsibilities) : - To work closely with internal stakeholders in building pricing proposals for Sales - Collaborate with various functions of CX in gathering necessary cost inputs & translate these inputs into the cost model used for pricing analysis - Work on business requirement gathering and implementation of ERP for Contract Management and RFQ process - Identify & drive critical cross-functional projects mainly focussed in bringing efficiencies yield and utilization - Participate in review meeting/ quarterly business reviews identifying gaps in current business practices - Preparation of reports and MIS for the senior leadership on measuring key business metrics Stakeholders (communication aspects: level of communication, content and communication partner) : - Regional Sales teams: sharing of pricing proposal to respond on the RFQs - Sales leadership: Collaborating on pricing and positioning of the same via contracts - Operations teams: Understanding cost inputs that are critical to pricing. Management Responsibility (people management and business related management responsibility) : - Should be able to support the leadership in decision making through analytical reports and MIS - Coach and guide pricing analytics team towards performance excellence within the sales support space. Education Level: MBA/PGDM Experience Level: 5+ years experience in the logistics industry with acumen for Pricing and analytics Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : - Should have experience and proficiency in working on RFI/RFP - Practical experience in shipping/logistics sector with Pricing and Revenue Management acumen - Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure & tight deadlines, experience in closely working with Sales, analytical ability, project management, and communication skills. - Ability to work with the senior leaders/CXO team to contribute on strategy building - Experience in preparation of Management Information and Presentation - Drive for results, go-getter attitude & experience in people management - Should have experience in managing a team - Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution - Proficient in MS Office specifically working in spreadsheets - Excellent written & verbal communication skills
