Dharmic Vibes - Chief Technical Officer

The CTO will be responsible for all aspects of developing and implementing technology initiatives within the organization. He or she has to analyze and improve upon technology standards across the organization to maintain a technological and competitive edge within the market.

In the ecommerce environment the deployment of Innovative technologies becomes critical and hence the expectation from the CTO is to be an innovator and a disruptor.

Cutting-edge technology is the backbone of a successful ecommerce company. The technology platform needs to be innovative, customer friendly and efficient.

Experience & Qualification:

- Over 10 years of experience in Internet technology. The candidate should be entrepreneurial, a disruptor, highly driven, have the ability to work with multiple stakeholders with good leadership and people management skills.

- You will own technical & architectural decision making, and be responsible with defining strong engineering processes to establish rhythm, plan product releases and ensure timely delivery.

- You will be responsible for ongoing training, career development and performance management of the team

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will be partnering with functional and product management teams to deliver business needs and provide input to the strategic direction of product development, directly influencing the business direction of new and existing products

- Engagement with Leadership Team: You will be part of the Leadership team and closely & constantly engage with the CEO and leadership team to understand the vision & ensure the strategic evolution of back-end architecture, code-base, and product design to realize the same. You will be closely engaged in developing technology business plans and budgets that support the short-term budget & long-term growth and business objectives of the company.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor / Master's degree in CS/ME/IT/related technology

- 10+ years of relevant & demonstrated hands-on technical management experience of software engineering

Required Skill:

- Demonstrated experience in large scale development, mobile and web applications

- Prior consumer internet experience preferred

- Experience in working in a highly collaborative environment

- Strong communication and convincing skill
