Client Details

Our client is one of the oldest & most recognised brands in the footwear space in the Indian market. Over the last decade they have created a strong brand presence for their product lines and are steadily increasing their distribution across different parts of the country. Their operations span across retail, wholesale as well as export operations.

They are looking at recruiting a DGM Warehousing & Logistics, based out of their corporate office in Delhi NCR.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for:

- Leading the department end to end across warehousing, logistics, transportation and distribution

- Controlling Costs across transportation, warehousing and implementing warehousing automation solutions

- Improving customer experience and Operational Efficiency of the company

- Leading a team of professionals and be responsible for their development in the organisation

Profile

You will be a person with around 10 years of experience in warehousing, transportation & distribution with exposure to WMS and ASRS systems. Prior exposure to FMCG/CD or Retail is preferred. The client is looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills with a hands-on approach to his/her work.
