At least 10 years in FMCG industry in the following:
- Should have handled marketing assignment for at least 10 years and must have multi-category experience, with atleast two years as Category Head
- Should have managed significant P&L responsibility, with demonstrated record of achieving consistent growth - Strong experience in brand building
- Experience in new product development from inception to launch
- Should have active sales & distribution experience The position entails a multi-pronged and pragmatic approach in terms of building the business. The various facets of the jobs are:
- Build and develop the marketing team
- Understands the consumer and market trends through the market research efforts of the company
- Defines marketing strategies to support the company's overall strategies and objectives
- Plans and organizes marketing functions and operations (new product development, branding, communications, activations etc.), and ensure they are in line with the brand architecture
- Designs and coordinates promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press etc.)
- Creates a solid network of strategic partnerships with media, research ,creative agency etc
- Develops the marketing & brand management strategy to support top line & bottom line growth & foray into new segments and innovative products
- Directs the evaluation of brand portfolio including brand definition & proposition, advertising concept, pricing, packaging, place and promotion for each category & brand
- Ensures coordination with sales department to implement & monitor all marketing initiatives
- Liaise with other departments such as Supply Chain, R&D, packaging, quality for successful implementation of marketing plans
- Ensures effective media evaluation & planning attain maximum ROI by coordinating with key media providers
- Responsible for translating brand vision and purpose into every marketing intervention
- Develops objectives, spearhead programs across marketing across multiple geographies and businesses.
- Design effective marketing plans for emerging channels such as ecommerce, lifestyle etc
- Identify shopper insights to drive activations in general trade and modern trade
