DGM - Legal - FMCG/Telecom (10-15 yrs)
- Advise middle level leadership on legal cases and issues with a focus on commercial and operational issues and agreed risk parameters and on taking cases to the High Court or higher authorities
- Research civil, criminal, corporate and labor laws and issues and strategize the course of action in a particular issue or litigation
- Draft and vet pleadings, plaint, affidavits, applications, written statements and various notices and replies
- Maintain complete records of litigation and implement MIS and reporting mechanism of all legal cases notices, draft memos and notes and present them to Management when required
- Manage external counsel relationships.
- Implement the standard policies to ensure timely and cost-effective legal action and safeguarding of organization.
- Organize training programs of the Legal team and other functions
- Design guidelines for litigation processes, drafting formats in coordination with National Head - Legal Field Operations
