DGM - Human Resources & Industrial Relations - Manufacturing (15-20 yrs)

About client:

Our client is a global manufacturing firm looking to hire to Sr Manager/DGM - HR for its Pune location. This is a team management role reporting to the VP Operations and/or GM HR.

As DGM - HR & IR, your roles and responsibilities will include:

- Creating the overall HR Strategy in line with the business plans and executing on all aspects of HR w.r.t Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Organization Effectiveness, Talent Management (succession planning, maintaining a pipeline of HiPo, periodic reviews for operations and supply chain workforce, mostly execution of TM initiatives), and Industrial Relations

- Partner actively with business heads and their one/two downs to understand ongoing HR needs, anticipate and provide timely solutions on people matters

- Manage all plant locations, oversee the Industrial Relations, and manage Union discussions with all bodies (LTS, negotiations), IR management with related statutory compliance

- Planning, directing, and coordinating Human Resource Management activities of the organization to maximize its strategic and ensuring that human resource goals are aligned with the business goals and HR initiatives and programs within the set HR budgets

- Ensuring proactive HR function (employee relations, employee compensation, HR policies) and the successful operation of the plant by liaising with all external authorities to ensure company-wide legal & statutory compliance on all matters related to employment laws

Ideal Candidate -

- Comes with 15-20 years of experience in HR, IR preferably from a manufacturing background, union experience is a must, TPM experience is an added advantage

- you are comfortable with traveling to the plant locations for scaling up business operations,
